The child started feeling unwell at 5 PM, became cold after a bath at around 7 PM, and then developed a fever of 39.2 degrees at 9 PM. After taking fever-reducing medication, the temperature dropped to 37.8 degrees at 11:30 PM, but it rose again to 39 degrees in the early morning. There were no symptoms of coughing or runny nose, but chills were present. Assessment suggests the fever might be due to catching a cold. It is advised to drink plenty of water, use warm water to bathe and cool down, and pay attention to staying warm and avoiding cross-infection.
