What is the Probability of Scoliosis in Bed-Wetting Children?

Typical infants can urinate independently by the age of 2-3 years. Bed-wetting before the age of 3 is normal. However, if a child over the age of 3 wets the bed fewer than twice a month while sleeping at night, it may be abnormal. The possibility of scoliosis should be considered during neurosurgical clinical diagnosis. Scoliosis is a common congenital developmental abnormality caused by incomplete fusion of the neural tube. It mainly refers to congenital incomplete closure of the vertebral canal, forming a cleft on the dorsal or ventral side of the spine.
