Study on the Normal CT Value Range of Newborn Head

This study aims to determine the normal CT value range of brain tissue in newborns of different gestational ages, to avoid misdiagnosis of normal brain tissue low density in premature infants as hydrocephalus or hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. The study results show that with increasing gestational age, the CT value of brain tissue gradually increases, and newborns of different gestational ages should have different normal value ranges.

Subsequent Treatment and Recovery for Intracranial Hemorrhage After Early Birth in Infants

The baby was born at 30 weeks due to rupture of membranes leading to infection. After birth, the baby was unable to breathe indefinitely, and although the vital signs stabilized with treatment, there was intracranial hemorrhage on both sides. Now, two months after discharge and corrected to 30 days of gestation, a follow-up examination at the hospital showed that the intracranial hemorrhage still persists.
